Featured HCRC Races & Events
The Harford County Running Club hosts several signature events throughout the year, from winter series to summer challenges and historic races. Our featured events include both club-exclusive runs for members and community races open to all participants.
Seasonal Series
Snowflake Series
A beloved winter tradition, our Snowflake Series runs from January through March each year. The series begins with the New Year’s Day run and concludes on the last Sunday of March. Club members who meet participation, volunteering, and plogging requirements earn special club-branded prizes.
The series features weekly Sunday runs at various locations throughout Harford County, with distances ranging from 5K to 15K. Virtual options are available for select events.
Dog Days of Summer Series
Started in 2019, the Dog Days of Summer Series helps fill our calendar during the summer months and gives members motivation to leave the treadmill behind. The series begins on June 1st with the Bel Air Town Run and ends on August 31st.
Members must earn 8 points through participation, volunteering, and environmental initiatives like “plogging” (picking up trash while jogging) to earn special recognition.
