Who We Are
The Harford County Running Club (HCRC) brings together runners of all abilities from across our community. Founded in 1966 with the first Airfield Run, we’ve grown from a small group of dedicated racers to a diverse community who share a passion for running, friendship, and healthy living.
As the oldest running club in Maryland, HCRC is a non-profit organization affiliated with the Road Runners Club of America. We’re dedicated to promoting amateur sports competition and physical fitness throughout Harford County, Maryland.
Whether you’re training for your first 5K or your twentieth marathon, you’ll find a supportive group of fellow runners ready to welcome you on the roads and trails of Harford County.
Our History
The Harford County Running Club, formerly Renaissance Allsports Athletic Club (RASAC), has a rich history of supporting running and fitness in our community. Our members have competed at international and national levels, collecting 11 individual national titles and 8 national team titles in running.
Today, we continue our mission by directing and hosting races, offering training programs, organizing group runs, and planning social events throughout the year for individuals who run and train in various sporting events.
