The Harford County Running Club (HCRC) Scholarship program has been supporting the educational needs of its young club members since 1980. Since its inception as the Renaissance All Sports Athletic Club (RASAC) Scholarship, with a donation by former presidents Janet and Joe Lacetera, the scholarship has supported over 50 students.

To be eligible for the HCRC scholarship, students must be current HCRC members. Consideration is given to club participation, school activities, academic achievement, community service, and financial need. The scholarship is available to High School Seniors and above. If you have applied in the past, we encourage you to apply again; however, please note that you are not eligible to win in consecutive years.

In addition to the application below, applicants will submit their transcript, a letter of recommendation, and an essay (250 word minimum) about how running and being a member of HCRC has impacted your life.
