Interested in sharing your favorite running route with fellow HCRC members? Hosting a group run is a rewarding way to get involved with the club and showcase the great running opportunities in Harford County.

Why Host a Run?

  • Share Your Passion: Introduce fellow runners to your favorite routes and hidden gems
  • Build Community: Connect with other club members in a relaxed, supportive environment
  • Easy Involvement: Hosting is a relatively simple way to contribute to the club
  • Flexible Options: Choose distances, terrain, and locations that match your interests

What Does Hosting Involve?

Throughout the year, members graciously donate their time to organize Sunday runs for the club. As a run host, you’ll:

  • Plan a route (typically for our Sunday group runs)
  • Provide clear directions and meeting location
  • Be available to answer questions about the route
  • Lead or designate leaders for different pace groups
  • Ensure all participants feel welcome and included
