Snowflake Requirements:
- Participants must be a paid member to accumulate points.
- Club members must earn a total of 10 points with at least 2 volunteer points and 1 Plog.
- Members can earn participation points by completing a Snowflake Run
- Members can earn volunteer points at Snowflake Series approved volunteer opportunities and emailing hcrcraceseries@runharford.com after the event
- Points will be awarded after submitting your results via the QR code or link online prior to 10 am Monday morning
- Points can be tracked on the Snowflake Tracker here
Virtual Runs
- A maximum of 4 runs may be run virtually. (Please note if the Board cancels a run due to inclement weather and the slated is run is made virtual, this does not count towards the 4 run max. In other words, the NYD run that was ran virtual for all is not part of the 4 virtual run limit)
- Participants must run the specified course in a single run before 12 NOON on either Saturday or Sunday (unless otherwise noted)
- Virtual participants must provide to a screenshot to hcrcraceseries@runharford.com confirming the completion of their run
Plogging
Plogging comes from combining, “plocka” in Swedish “to pick up” and jogging. Get fit and at the same time clean up; it burns more calories than conventional jogging and is much more rewarding. - Run/Jog your favorite 5k route and pick up trash along that route.
- Keep your GPS tracker on so we can see where you cleaned and submit a screenshot of your tracker along with the trash you picked up to hcrcraceseries@runharford.com
- Share your plogging adventure on social media with hashtags #goplogging #ploggingHCRC
- Complete any day during the series before EOD March 31st.
- Note: Cannot be combined with a scheduled Snowflake Series run.
